It’s beginning to feel like Antarctica here in Washington, D.C. so what better time to reminisce slightly warmer times by sharing Shannon and Adams’s gorgeous fall wedding in Arlington, Virginia. They had a beautiful city chic wedding with fall red accents sprinkled throughout their day.
While planning their wedding Shannon and Adam emphasized their love for photography and had planned as much time for pictures as possible. Which is always ok with me!
The location of their wedding created endless possibilities for lively pictures. We were able to capture the essence of the Nation’s Capital in the background of each shot. We began with a first look from the Key Bridge Marriott overlooking the Potomac River and Georgetown before moving on to bridal portraits at the Iwo Jima Memorial where we enjoyed the fall foliage and a perfect the view of the Washington Monument. In true D.C. fashion we ended the night at Arlington’s Top of the Town, which has the most AMAZING view of the city skyline!
I had a great time capturing Shannon and Adam’s wedding. Their love and joy permeated throughout the whole celebration, and they ensured everyone there had a great time! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding.
